I have two words - H1N1 flu! Those of you that know me know that my job puts me on the front lines dealing with this nasty little bug and I’ve been seeing quite a bit of it lately. Once again the blog has gotten booted for real life. Consequently,  the meal plan is late.  If you’re shopping the Publix sale that ends tomorrow (Thursday in some areas), you’ll enjoy the coupon match ups listed.

We ate Shrimp Primavera for dinner tonight and will be eating take outs tomorrow night thanks to a nice treat from my Mom.

HCW is reporting that the penny item at Publix is a Green Wise 4 pkg of toilet paper. Remember that this may vary by store and a $10 minimum purchase is required to take advantage of the deal.

While many stores don’t ask you to present the in ad coupon, I advise you take it with you anyway. Many stores seem to be requiring it these days. Also, Florida stores don’t participate in the penny promotional.

There will be three manufacturer coupon inserts – one Proctor &  Gamble, one Smart Source and one Red Plum. To see the preview click here ( use the list to help you determine how many papers to buy).

Remember, the actual coupons vary by region. The larger papers generally have the best coupons.

Harris Teeter is having Super Doubles this week!  Coupons up to $1.98 face value will be doubled; if you have a $1.50 coupon it becomes $3.00.

- BOGO items: you do not have to buy both; items will ring at half price. The Price listed below reflects the half price

- For B2G3 free items, you must purchase all 5 to get the deal.

- Make sure you register your VIC card for special e-VIC promotions.

- Limit of (20) coupons per household each day for Super Doubles (very strict on this). You can use other coupons but they will not double. Give your Super Double coupons first, then the other coupons.

Here is the very late meal plan for the week based on my stockpile and the Publix sale. Things are still pretty nutty around here. I’m continuing to operate in survival mode. We ate hot steak and cheese sandwiches tonight (from last week’s plan).
